Where to do yoga
1. Choose a quiet, secluded place where there is plenty of fresh air.
2. Be in the shade if you are practicing yoga outdoors.
3. Lighter yoga exercises can be done almost anywhere.
What to wear during yoga
1. Depending on the climate, wear as little as possible to give the body full freedom.
2. Avoid tight fitting clothes.
3. Use a mat, carpet or blanket on the floor.
When and for how long to do yoga
1. Never do yoga for 3 hours after a meal.
2. Otherwise any time of the day or evening is suitable for yoga.
3. Self-training beginners should not spend more than an hour at a time in doing yoga.
Attitude when doing yoga
1. Slow and smooth movements should be the aim.
2. Never force or strain muscles.
3. Do good to yourself without trying to impress others.
